New cafes in Bandra and what changed in 2026

The biggest change this year was Mokai moving from Chapel Road to Pali Hill in March 2026. If a map app still shows the old Chapel Road pin, ignore it. Bandra cafes open and shut often, so treat any list older than a year with care. Every cafe here has a 2025 or 2026 source, or a current listing page.

Aesthetic cafes in Bandra: for photos, Steps Cafe (tree and terrace), Vanilla Miel (bungalow), Candies (villa staircases) and Mary Lodge by Subko (restored lodge) get the most attention in the sources used here.

Getting there, parking and timing

Bandra station on the Western line is the usual starting point. Most of these cafes are a short auto ride away, and Pali Hill, Pali Village and Chapel Road are walkable from each other. Street parking is limited, especially on 16th Road, 24th Road and around Carter Road, so an auto or cab is easier at weekends.

Weekday mornings before 10 am are the calmest time for the popular brunch places. Candies and Fictionary are listed as closed on Mondays, and Vanilla Miel keeps short Monday hours.

Want a planned route? See the Boojee Cafe ordering guide for the first stop, then walk on to Pali Hill.

How we picked these cafes

This is an independent guide. No cafe paid to be included, and none is connected to this site. We used food guides and listing pages published in 2025 and 2026, left out cafes that sources reported as closed, and did not use ratings or review quotes. Prices are cost-for-two figures as reported, not menu prices.
